Today was "Prep Day" in preparation of building a playground at York Creek Apartments. The weather cooperated beautifully. By the end of the afternoon, the preparation work was completed and everyone is waiting for Friday to roll along for the installation. On Friday, over a hundred volunteers from Amway, and experts from KaBOOM!, will join other volunteers from the community and from the Comstock Park Rotary Club. Ribbon cutting is expected to be around 2:30 PM Friday with several local and state dignitaries on hand. The playground is expected to be ready for play on Monday. The project is funded by Amway.
