Maranatha Day Camp

This is the second week at Maranatha Church Summer Camp.  The camp has served our community for two generations.  This year about 340 children attended the camp, which offers all kinds of activities including Archery, Air Riflery, Beadie Buddies, Canoeing, Ceramics, Cheerleading, Cooking, Creative Card making, Critter Catchers, Drama, Fishing, Guitar 101, Handcrafts, Leather Craft, Outdoor Life, Advanced Outdoor Life, Photography, Riflery, Scrap Booking, Soccer, Swimming, Ultimate Survival and Volleyball.  The purpose of Day Camp is to give the campers a Christ centered camping experience that will enrich their lives spiritually, physically, and mentally.  Approximately 340 children from 2nd through 8th grade attended the camp.  There will be a brief ceremony Thursday evening  for the kids and their friends and family with free hotdogs and refreshments.  More information is available at http://www.mbcmi.org/?page_id=2905.
