Upcoming Events in Alpine Township

HOLY TRINITY PARISH ALPINE FESTIVAL

On September 11 and 12, 2010, Holy Trinity Parish, 1200 Alpine Church Road NW, will celebrate it's 35th annual ALPINE FESTIVAL. There will be Food, Refreshments, Entertainment, Live Music, Beer, Las Vegas Party, Sunday Bingo, and much more. Sunday is geared towards families with Kids Games, Bingo, 50/50 raffle, large inflatables, a Country Store and a Kiddie Tractor Pull. Of course there is also the famous Sunday BBQ chicken, mini raffles, and a Raffle with first prize of $8,000. This is a great event for the entire community. Here are some pictures from last year's event. Call the parish office at 784-0677 for festival details!

VISITE CON LA BIBLIOTECA!

On Sunday,  September 12, 2010, the Kent Distict Library will be reaching out to our Hispanic community at the Alpine Township Sports Complex.  Katie the Elephant, Mascott of the District Library. El Pollo Loco, a crazed chicken of no known origins (other than an egg), and Purdy the Clown will all be on hand in an effort to introduce the migrant youth to the KDL.  There will be games, and a life Mariachi will be performing.  So sneak away from the festival for a few moments and join the fun at the Sports complex, just up the road at Alpine Church Road and Baumhoff.
