Members of the Comstock Park School Board and supporting cast held a ribbon cutting ceremony and a ceremonious coin toss to help celebrate the renovation of the sports complex but the real "stamp of approval" was provided by the Comstock Park Football team as they beat Belding in convincing fashion. At half time, members of the design engineering and construction crew were introduced.
