On Sunday., March 16th travel enthusiasts had the opportunity to view a great travelogue on hiking the Appalachian Trail .
The program was presented by Tim and Nancy VanNest from Kent City. This was the second presentation by the VanNests for the the Alpine Township Historical Committee. In 2012 Tim and Nancy shared anecdotes and photos of their 2,600 mile hike along the Pacific Crest Trail.
