The Kent District Library once again sponsored a Fiesta at the Alpine Township Sports Complex at 1850 Alpine Church Road. The celebration is part of an annual awareness campaign in an effort to make the Spanish speaking community aware of the library and what it has to offer . There was face painting and temporary tattoos, animal balloons, and life broadcasting by Radio LAMEJORGR.COM. A number of staffers from the Kent District Library were on hand along with several teen volunteers from the Alpine Township Library. The Alpine Township Fire Department was also on hand to educate and make kids feel at ease with first responders.
