Alpine Firefighters Association Fallen Heroes Antique Car Show

Red sky in the morning may have kept some exhibitors and enthusiasts away from the Alpine Township Sports Complex at 1850 Alpine Church Road but those who attended the third annual Fallen Heroes Antique  Car Show sponsored by the Alpine Firefighters Association were treated to a special event this year.  The Wolverine Sky Hawks Model Airplane Association  demonstrated their model airplanes (and helicopter).  From gasoline powered engines to electric motors, from gliders to fighter jets, they all took to the air and entertained the audience.  Then there was also a variety of antique and special motor vehicles.  Friendships  grew or were rekindled, and a good time was had by all, despite a brief rain storm.
