Comstock Park Community Celebration

Katie the Elephant and Friend
It was a beautiful summer evening for a celebration as hundreds of neighbors came together to celebrate their community.  The celebration began at 7:00 with ice cream, courtesy of the Comstock Park Rotary, face painting, a free photo booth, and representation from various churches and community organizations.  The evening ended with a movie in the Park.  Families enjoyed the movie "Madagascar 3", presented by Wedgwood Christian Services on a large screen.  Free popcorn was provided as well.

The event was organized by Meghan Auperlee with Wedgwood Christian Service and Nancy Mulder, Comstock Park Library Manager.
