A Taste of Comstock Park

Good food, attractive Christmas trees and wreaths, great local food vendors and loyal school supporters made  for a wonderful Thursday evening at the Comstock Park High School new Fine Arts Center.  The even was sponsored by and benefitted the Comstock Park School Educational Foundation.  Topping off the evening was a musical performance given by 5th grade students of Pine Island Elementary School.  Bids were offered and  received on the over 30 tree entries.  Raising the most funds was The Money Tree, decorated by Independent Bank.  Other winning entries included "The Despicable Tree, which won several awards including most kid friendly, and most original, and was decorated by Kidz Club House.  There was also a first sighting of who we think was Santa Clause and his helper.

Santa or Santa Look alike - You decide

Had there been a category for "Most Practical"  this entry from the employees of Alpine Township would have won handily because...........

It made for great rain gear on this wet evening.
