Alpine Township Changing of the Guard

Monday night's meeting of the Alpine Township Board of Trustees was the last one for the board members who were elected in 2008.  Tuesday beginning at noon, the newly elected board will officially take office.

In Alpine Township this means it was the last board meeting for Ted Wallace Monday night, and at the conclusion of the meeting he was awarded with an Award of Appreciation for the dedication and commitment that he demonstrated during his eight years in office.  Ted served on numerous committees and also served as board liaison to the Fire Department. While Ted may not be representing the Township Board over the next four years, it is certain that he will remain an active voice in the community.

The newly elected board was sworn in after the meeting, which includes newcomer Mike Wahlfield.
