We are blessed with a beautiful Labor Day Weekend. The Alpine Township Board of Trustees and all the staff wish everybody the opportunity to enjoy it, and hope a bountiful harvest is to follow. Many of us are grateful for the jobs we have, and say thanks to the rest of us who labor to help us put food on our tables, and with thoughts towards those who are seeking employment.
Schwallier's Country Basket, on the corner of M37 and 9 Mile Rd is one of many Alpine Township's Farmer's Markets that provide fresh fruit and vegetables and a whole lot more, including entertainment for the kids.

The Liga De Inmigrantes de Futbal that plays at the Alpine Township Sports Complex each Sunday sponsored a car wash today for a family member who is in immediate need of a kidney. Epifanio Alvarez is 27 years old, and family and friends are trying desperately to help him cover the medical expenses. Spanish press and radio were on hand supporting and promoting the event. The group raised about $650.00 from its players and fans.

There were plenty of volunteers, washing cars non'stop all morning.
It was a beautiful day to watch an exciting soccer game
There is always a family atmosphere on Sundays
Some of the coaches who show up faithfully every Sunday who help keep the park safe, secure, and clean.
Let's not forget the players who provide the entertainment while practicing their skills.
