Comstock Park Rotary Club Updated on Gerald R. Ford International Airport

The Comstock Park Rotary Club met this Thursday at 12:15 at the Swann Inn Restaurant in Alpine Ave. NW.  Guest speaker was Bruce Schedlbauer, Marketing and Communications Manager for the airport. He announced that the airport was setting new records in the number of passengers that it has been able to service.  Part of the reason for this is that the airport has been able to attract some smaller and lower cost airlines, many offering direct routes to destinations of interest to  West Michigan travellers.

Two Rotary Club members were presented with Paul Harris Fellowship Awards.  Alex Arends ((center) and Brent Beuschel
