Alpine Township Fire Station #1 at 841 Alpine Church Road was the venue for the annual meeting of the Kent County Fire Commission. In addition to regular business, board members and a number of fire chiefs and other guests were updated on the Kent County's Fire Apparatus insurance program by Kevin Whaley with the Campbell Group. There was also a presentation on the new Kent County 911 and dispatch program that is now scheduled to make its debut in February 2012.
