The special guest at the Comstock Park Rotary Club meeting on Thursday was Elizabeth Carpenter, daughter of Barb and Steven Carpenter. She graduated from Kenowa Hills High School last year with a 4.0 grade-point average and is also an accomplished track star. Elizabeth was the recipient of a $750 scholarship from the Comstock Park Rotary and came to the club meeting to thank the members. She currently attends the University of Purdue and plans to major in engineering.
