At the Alpine Township meeting of the Board of Trustees, a special time was set aside to recognize Deputy Fire Chief Mike Lasko who will step down from that position. . Chief Lasko has been an active firefighter for many years. He served as Deputy Fire Chief since 2004, the Township has, and continues to be well served by him. Mike acknowledged appreciation for the position he has enjoyed, and confirmed that he will continue on as a firefighter in Alpine Township. At the May board meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Jeremy Kelley as the new Deputy Chief.
