Tuesday evening is Training Night for Alpine Township firefighters and for tonight and the next few weeks members of the fire department will be able to practice in a real building using different scenarios. These exercises include gaining entry into locked rooms, search and rescue, and many more. The training is a joint effort with the Sparta Fire Department and is conducted on the Gippers Restaurant property that is scheduled for demolition in the near future.
