Our neighboring community of Sparta knows how to throw a good party and with that comes a great parade. Celebrating Sparta Days began on Wednesday July 11 and will continue through this weekend with some events even being celebrated next weekend.
Today's Parade started promptly at noon and was enjoyed by thousands in great weather. Leading the parade was the Alpine Township Fire Department Honor Guard and a number of other Alpine Township businesses and residents participated in the festivities. This annual event is one of the best in West Michigan and we are happy to be immediate neighbors.
