The Alpine Firefighters Association held its First Annual Fallen Heroes Car Show this Saturday and the program was a huge success. There were about seventy cars and trucks on display on a perfect summer day. This year's program was in memory of Charles A. Waldmiller, an Alpine Township resident who was very active in the community and very much of an antique car enthusiast, who passed away in 1996. This year's program was chaired by Alpine Township firefighter Alan Mayo, grandson of Charles Waldmiller. The show took place at the Alpine Township Sports Complex on the corner of Alpine Church Road and Baumhoff Ave.
