Alpine Township officials with the assistance of Comstock Park Boy Scout Troop #223 and the Honor Guard of the American Legion Furniture City American Legion Post #258 conducted its annual Memorial Day service, not only honoring all those veterans who died while serving in the Armed Forces, but all who served in the military and are buried in Alpine Center, Englishville, Pine Grove and Holy Trinity Cemeteries.
