The man often referred to as “the Father of American Literature” has been invited by the Alpine Township Historical Committee to share his humor and wisdom on Sunday, *November 18th at 2 p.m. at the Alpine Township Community Building, 2015 7 Mile Road. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. Donations accepted

satire earned praise from critics and peers, and he was a friend to presidents, artists, industrialists, and European royalty. Mark Twain is the pen name of American author Samuel Langhorne Clemens. He will be portrayed by local historian Clifford Helms
