The Board of Alpine Township passed a proclamation on April 21st declaring Wednesday May 14 as ART AND WESLEY ROTH DAY, in honor of the twins 90th birthday and in appreciation of all their contributions to the township and community. In addition to starting a successful trucking business, Art and Wes have been more than good neighbors over the years, with Wes having served on the Board of Trustees and serving on several committees over the years, and Art assisting with resolving some local issues.
On Wednesday Township Supervisor Alex Arends, Clerk Jean Wahlfield and Treasurer Jim Townsend presented Art and Wesley with a framed certificate at Roth Trucking in the presence of family and friends.
