About 15 residents showed up at an open house for property owners living on the south side of Lamoreaux Ave to discuss the Township's proposal to replace the existing decrepit asphalt pedestrian path with a 5 ft concrete sidewalk. The meeting was hosted by Zion Lutheran Church. Those who attended were encouraged to participate in the discussion and offer suggestions and concerns. Costs for the construction of the sidewalk is expected to be absorbed by the Township. The sidewalk would connect the existing sidewalk along Lamoreaux in Plainfield Townhip with Alpine Ave.
